Mr. Sinenlo Kath Rengma set to become 1st Rengma footballer to play on foreign soil as his team, Indian Regiment, takes on the Malaysian team at Lebanon on 02/10/17 at 8:30 AM.

Player Bio:

One of the most well known name in Nagaland football, Sinenlo Kath s/o Mr. Keyalo Kath from Sishunu village born on 27/07/89, also known to many as ‘Alo’ is among the best midfielders from Nagaland at the moment.

He has represented clubs like Kohima Komets and Naga tornadoes in the NPL and the Army XI at the Kolkata League. He is also a key player of the ARC Shillong Team where he achieved his stardom. He was also offered a contract by Churchill Brothers which now plays at the I-League but didn’t sign due to some issues. He is currently at Lebanon with the Indian Regiment team.

Sinenlo has participated in and won numerous state level and national level tournaments, both uniformed and civilian tournaments, over the years.

One of his notable individual achievement​ is being a scholarship winner of the coveted Subroto Cup.

Achievements (Team): Winner of Royal Gold Cup, and NSF Martyrs’ Trophy; Runners-up of National U-16 (Nagaland Team)

He is an integral part of the Vanguard FC Team and is the heart of the Vanguard FC Midfield.

He also won the ‘Best playmaker ’ award in the Captain Kengurise Memorial Trophy 2015 for his role in the team’s fight in the inaugural year of the tournament
